Yamaha
bass guitars have gained their popularity because of their excellent
sound and great play-ability. They are available in 4, 5 or 6-string
models, with active or passive pickups, and are well worth trying
out. |
|
The
Fender Precision (a.k.a. the P-Bass) is probably the most famous,
most recognizable bass ever. This and the Jazz Bass make Fender
one of the top choices among professional players. (4, 5 or 6-strings,
active or passive pickups). |
|
Squire
basses (by Fender) are made in Mexico or overseas. From entry-level
on upwards, Squire basses are good-sounding, nice-playing instruments. |
|
Epiphone
makes some fine bass guitars, whether you are looking for something
traditional or otherwise. Many models emulate the Gibson electric
guitar bodies, like the SG, Les Paul, Explorer, Thunderbird, 335
(complete with F-holes), etc. They even have the "Beatle-bass"
model (Viola), and the Accu-Bass. |
|
DeArmond
basses (by Guild) begin where other entry-level standards in guitar-making
leave off. With their sleek, modern bodies, and great-playing necks,
you'll be surprised at how affordable they actually are. Distributed
by Fender. |

Most
of the Samick bass guitars (that we carry) are entry-level. They
are fine instruments that fit into any budget. |
